Christmas Front Door Decor

Christmas Front Door Decor

Front doors and porches are often the first impression guests have of our home, so it is a perfect opportunity to decorate.

Snow Man Large Door Decor

No matter the style, contemporary or traditional, decorating can be tailored to enhance each front door. Color, personality, theme, age of family, etc should be considered when making your decorating selections. This blog features a few homes our teams decorated. Notice the different types of front porches, and the endless decorating and theme options you have.

Candy Cane Front Door

This red brick home with its black door, black shutters and white trim can showcase a red and white peppermint and snowflake theme. A green faux fur garland surrounds the door as well as the columns, and a candy cane wreath is the focal point. Ribbon, balls, berries and candy are the simple but effective adornment. A santa pillow adds a welcoming addition.

Christmas Pillows and Bench

Small Front Door Decor

Have fun with flower beds and porches. Whimsical reindeer pillows say "Merry Christmas," and can even make a scrooge smile. A small entrance is still big enough to boast full Christmas garland laden with red, green and black and white polka dots and stripes. Patterned balls and ribbon along with glittered floral are just the right mix to help the Santa and list welcome family and friends for the holidays.

Kathy's Front Door

Even when flower beds are a work in progress, decorating the front porch is a must. Metal signs and figurines from the Round Top Collection accent the doorway. A large monogramed ornament lets visitors know who lives here. Do not forget to decorate the light sources. Here we added two small wreaths topped off with a big bow to create balance. To the right, a large bright green balls sits on an empty urn beside rosemary shrubs shaped like Christmas Trees.

Snow Man Front Door

These whimsical snow men are right at home dressed out in top hat with red, green, lime green and touches of black and white. Glittered picks and sprays co-mingle with the pine garland and patterned ribbon to live comfortably on these modern doors.

Country Front Door

Lots of red and multicolor balls decorate this traditional french country entryway. The blue wood door and leaded glass is the perfect back drop for faux topiary spiral trees in black urns. Red velvet ribbon and poinsettias work beautifully with the gold metallic ribbon. A matching wreath compliments this festive entrance and sets the tone for the season. The garland is lit with chasing multicolored lights that twinkle in the evening.

Think about the style and personality of your home and plan a theme to coordinate. Be creative and have fun with it.

Happy Decorating,

Kathy
